Oh boy....why me?

Okay, so please tell me why my kids CANNOT behave when we go to the stores? It is so embarrassing! It really is! Today I went to the store, cause I had gotten some really great tips from AFullCup.com, and wanted to get it done and over with! But NO my kids want to run around acting like idiots. And then it results in me yelling at them, even more embarrassing! I shouldn't have to resort to yelling, I know. But what the heck can I do? I'm telling you, trust me, you probably would have been embarrassed for me if you were in the store! SERIOUSLY!
ahhhhhhhhh
okay, thanks for allowing me to vent!

saving my "non" money

Yes, I am one of those unfortunate people who lost their job. BUT in some ways some say it was my fault. I previously had worked for a company for 6 years. As a struggling mother of two boys, I decided to allow a female manager to move in with me, knowing the feeling of having nothing. See, she just left an abusive relationship with her daughter and didn't have anywhere to go. So here I am opening my doors, and we even informed our store manager. Anyhow 4 months later, I find out she hadn't been paying the bills (part of the agreement) and that she was moving. I found papers saying the past due balance, and a paper for her daughter to transfer schools. Mind you, we had been getting along, no problems that I was aware of. So anyhow, upon this she is moving out, and my sister was yelling at her due to these unpaid bills (we are talking a total of $400 she was leaving me with) and she ended up going to work and asking our boss for a transfer. "fearing" she couldn't work with me. So when I return from my day off, my boss tells me that I am temp. suspended until further notice for allegations of threatening a co-worker. WHAT?!?!? Anyhow 1 week later my boss calls me in for a meeting with our brand new district manager. And that is where they inform me that I am being terminated for fratenzation. I said what? How? Cause the policy is that I can't hang out with crew unless there are 3 or more. And then the new dm says "yes but there was a new clause added in 2006 that states salary managers are not allowed to hang out with anyone, including hourly managers." How am I suppose to know this, she claims I signed something back then, I DID NOT!!! I have been trying to get this supposeded copy since Novemember 2008, and still nothing. Anyhow when I say, why didn't my supervisor inform me this 4 months earlier when he changed her address to mine, knowing she was moving in??? The dm said it was my responsibility to know the policies. AHHHH You know, I am not a mind reader, or have knowledge of things without getting the information. I was so upset, cause really, I wouldn't had allowed her to move in if I knew I could lose my job! To make matters worse, I was denied for unemployment due to termination for misconduct! Go figure! So that is why I am writing a blog, cause I know there are others out there struggling. Well with little money I have, I have learned to get the most for my dollar! And that is from joining a website called AFullCup.com!!

I will be putting up examples of my shopping trips to show you how wonderful this site is!
But for example:
I found out 2 weeks ago, going to Target was the cheapest way to buy the Bolt dvd. They gave me a link to get $5 off, and then informed everyone that by buying both Bolt and Lilo and Stitch for $15.99 each you saved another $10. So $15.99x2= $31.98-10-5= $16.98. BUT wait, they also informed you where to find the $6 off both those movies, so take another $6 off= $10.98 . Thats not all! They also shared links to get mail in rebates for the Bolt dvd, so far I am able to get $5 back from buying creamette pasta (cost me$1) and $4 from buying Rayovac batteries.
Very exciting!
Well enough for now, I will share some more!
